Predicting and Estimating Landscape Water Use - October 8, 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
As water costs increase and competition for its use become more intense, our industry is expected to more closely monitor its use. This class will give you the skills to estimate water use and costs. By combining your own local weather data with site specific planting and soil information you will be able to better plan for, and budget a site's watering needs. Those in the installation, design or maintenance of irrigation systems will be able calculate a systems daily, monthly or yearly water use at any stage of a project. You will practice what you learn through hands on class work and through realistic case studies.

Advanced Irrigation design for Water Conservation - October 9, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
This course is designed especially for irrigation designers, contractors, water purveyors, suppliers and other irrigation professionals. Advanced concepts of irrigation design, uniformity and technology will be discussed. The class emphasis is on water conservation in the landscape through better irrigation design skills.

Sprinkler System Scheduling - October 10, 8:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Landscapers, irrigators and grounds maintenance personnel can learn how to set up a watering schedule using irrigation controllers on automatic systems. Discover simple, clear and accurate scheduling techniques. Topics include evapotranspiration rates, root zones, soil types and precipitation rates.
